Escape in to the magic of the movies as for 3 nights only, Sydney's new ICC theatres will host Sydney Film Music Festival. Experience the iconic scores of Hans Zimmer, Alexandre Desplat, John Powell and many more as the George Ellis Symphony Orchestra performs the soundtracks alongside a huge HD screen showcasing the movie.

The new venue features world class architectural design, precinct integration and technical facilities.


People of all ages and backgrounds will experience the franchise’s groundbreaking and wildly popular musical achievements while the most iconic Star Trek film and TV footage is simultaneously beamed in high definition to a 40-foot wide screen.

The concert will feature some of the greatest music written for the franchise, played by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra, including music from Star Trek The Original Series, Star Trek The Motion Picture, Star Trek II The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek IV The Voyage Home, Star Trek Insurrection, Star Trek The Next Generation, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Star Trek Voyager and more.

Maximus Decimus Meridius will have his vengeance again, accompanied by an on-stage orchestra, as Gladiator Live heads to Sydney Film Music Festival!

The event will see Gladiator screened in high definition on a huge screen, as Hans Zimmer’s stirring score is performed live by the George Ellis Orchestra, Conducted by Justin Freer.

Gladiator, starring Russell Crowe as a vengeful former general doing vivid battle with a corrupt emperor’s son, is one of the most acclaimed films of recent years, winning five Oscars including Best Picture, as Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard’s memorable music scooped Best Original Score at the Golden Globes.


A one night only special event, featuring music and iconic movie moments from DreamWorks Animation’s hit films including Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon and many more.

Enjoy a celebration of more than 20 years of inspired animation and iconic music scores by Hans Zimmer, Harry Gregson-Williams, John Powell, Alexandre Desplat, Alan Silvestri, Danny Elfman and many others.
